Einstein Medical Center Montgomery

The Einstein Healthcare Network (EHN) sought to expand their services and mission—to serve as many as can be reached. Branching out from its existing regional service area EHN is partnering with the Montgomery Hospital Medical Center (MHMC) to build a modern, technologically-advanced medical center to the suburbs northwest of Philadelphia.

Balfour Resource Group is providing comprehensive activation planning and transition planning services to Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, including establishing and maintaining the Project Management Office, operational planning, development of the human resources strategy and staffing plan, as well as developing the education and training plan and the master transition budget, creating the communication plan, supporting change management, implementation oversight,  and post-occupancy evaluation.

The new medical center, in Montgomery County, PA, is scheduled to open in September 2012. With more than 363,000 square feet, the 146-bed facility will have leading-edge clinical services and programs including emergency and trauma response, cancer care, cardiology and cardiac surgery services, women’s services, general surgery, as well as health education and wellness programs. An adjacent 75,000-square-foot medical office building will provide access to primary care physicians and specialists.
