Less than 75 days for the big move

Chicago, Illinois – March 30, 2012 - In less than 75 days, Children’s Memorial Hospital will make the move to their new location and become Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Saturday, June 9, is the big move day as all patients make the trek from the old location to the new facility. Balfour Resource Group is providing transition planning services and will be on hand.

Rady Children’s Hospital – Data Center Transition

Balfour Resource Group recently completed a data center transition project with Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, California. Balfour Resource Group was selected to plan and coordinate the relocation of the primary Data Center as well as some equipment housed at an off-site co-location facility.

The six month effort was lead by Ryan Frymire, Director of Technology Planning and included the following:

  • Evaluation of system dependencies
  • Review and monitor new data center readiness
  • Risk assessment
  • Master Timeline
  • Scheduling
  • Maintain Device Inventory
